first taste of victory.

George won his first hockey tournament today. The final game was so stressful for me that I had to hold back tears. I wanted him to win so badly! George came out hard and scored the first three goals of the game, but it was a battle until the end. The game went into overtime - 4 minutes, sudden death, first team to score wins. The other team had a chance to score first but our goalie in her pink laces and long blonde pony tail slapped it away. Then one of our little dudes brought the puck down to the net and - WHACK! GOAL!!! We all screamed and I took my first breath in an hour. Victory is sweet.
